Event Sales Support – Hybrid Role (Work from Home & Perth Office)

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home and in our Perth office.

Human Services Division

(Aged Care, Disability, SDA & Impact Housing)

Engage with aged care, disability, SDA, and impact housing providers

Follow up with event attendees and gather feedback

Build relationships with key sector stakeholders

Provide admin support and attend selected events

Resource Sector Division

(Mining, Environment, Net Zero, Water Quality & Health)

Connect with organisations in mining and sustainability

Promote events through value-based conversations

Research industry trends and support event delivery

Assist with event admin and planning

 

Safety Division

Engage professionals in safety and compliance

Drive attendance and event engagement

Provide event info and follow-up communications

Support logistics and onsite coordination

Position Title:

Membership and Events Officer – Human Services (SILSDA, NDISDA & Aged Care)

Location:

Hybrid | 1 day per week in-office (your state) + 1 day remote

Employment Type:

Casual – 2 days per week to start
Opportunity to transition to Permanent Part-Time based on performance

 

We are a national organisation driving impact across the NDIS, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and Aged Care sectors. Through events, memberships, and collaboration, we connect stakeholders and service providers to improve care, outcomes, and innovation in human services.

Role Overview:

As a Membership and Events Officer, you will support the growth of our membership base, coordinate and co-host hybrid events, and serve as a confident and engaging point of contact for our partners and community. Your communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills will be key in representing the organisation across a range of professional environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Host and co-deliver hybrid and in-person events across the NDIS, SDA, SIL, and Aged Care sectors.

  • Engage and onboard new members, nurturing strong relationships and delivering great service.

  • Build rapport with stakeholders including providers, support coordinators, and industry leaders.

  • Coordinate event logistics, registrations, materials, and communications.

  • Represent the organisation professionally at expos, forums, and sector networking events.

  • Proactively manage inbound and outbound calls with a friendly, confident phone manner.

  • Maintain and update CRM records accurately, including member and attendee data.

  • Prepare presentations, handouts, and follow-up communications using Microsoft Office.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in membership, events, business development, sales, or customer engagement roles.

  • Confident presenter with strong communication and hosting skills (both in-person and online).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport quickly and professionally.

  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Strong understanding or base knowledge of the NDIS and Aged Care sectors.

  • High standard of professional presentation and written communication.

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing event environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering or facilitating training sessions or workshops.

  • Experience coordinating hybrid or virtual events.

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools or event registration platforms.

  • Prior experience in the disability, aged care, or human services sectors.
